The President of the company is Laurence (Larry)Kaplan. Larry has been a member of the IBEW for over 30 years. Formally employed by Hickson Electric. Larry holds a Master's Electrical License in the City of Rochester.

The Vice President of the company is Eric Schmidt. Eric has also been a member of IBEW for the last 18 years. Eric holds a college degree in Construction Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology. Eric was previously Superintendent of Steo Electric in Rochester, New York.

Kaplan-Schmidt has grown from a two man shop to a maximum of 95 employees. Kaplan-Schmidt currently has 45 permanent employees including three estimators, two superintendents and eleven foremen.

Kaplan-Schmidt is pleased to announce the addition of Jeff Lang to our estimating staff. Jeff formerly of Billitier Electric, has completed several public and school projects in the past few years. Jeff's addition to the company will help secure a profitable future for Kaplan-Schmidt.

Kaplan- Schmidt is proud to service our customers from our new 13,000ft. location at 50 Saginaw Drive, in Henrietta, New York.

Kaplan-Schmidt excels at fast-paced design build projects. We are currently working at Xerox installing power and control wiring for their new Toner Building. This project entails 40,000 man hours. We will substainally complete this project in less than six months.
